四月 28, 2023
Svitlana enters the new role following seven years at Valtech as Head of Presales & Engagement at Valtech Ukraine, and is now handed the reins by Arturas Kvederis, as he steps into the role as Regional Managing Director.
Svitlana steps into the new role bringing her 18 years of experience from managerial positions in the media and IT Industry, and her profound understanding of Valtech Ukraine – it’s culture, clients and not least its people.
Svitlana has built her career by gravitating toward the most innovative sectors and companies. She started out in digital media as the Marketing Director of Bigmir.net, one of the first Ukrainian internet portals. From there, she became the Managing Director of Bonnier Business Press Ukraine before pursuing innovation in the more specialized IT industry, which eventually brought her to Valtech.
Svitlana's holistic perspective is the ideal link between client pains and delivery optimization thanks to her years of experience working side-by-side with both clients and the consultants responsible for identifying and delivering the solutions. These qualities place her in a prime position to maintain the high standard of service that Valtech's customers have come to expect:
“We are very happy to have Svitlana take the lead in Valtech Ukraine. She will be an incredible benefit to both our clients and our employees because of her ability to see all sides. Thanks to the impressive leadership of Arturas, she is taking over a strong and mature organization that has managed to not only stay afloat but thrive during these terrible times all while taking excellent care of our people. I’m confident that Svitlana will continue to make Valtech Ukraine a great place for our people to work and a growing force to be reckoned with in the industry.” Jakob Vasehus, Global Chief Delivery Officer, Valtech.
“I am stepping into this role with great gratitude to Arturas for the energy and dedication he has put into making Valtech Ukraine the amazing organization it is today. In a world of constant change, good people are the only constant, and Valtech truly has a unique culture that attracts good people who transform by doing every day. I look forward to continuing the amazing journey we are on, bringing the highest level of dedication to our projects and programs, that our clients know and love.” Svitlana Gerassimova, Managing Director, Valtech Ukraine.
From one Managing Director to another
For the past four years, Valtech Ukraine has been led safely through turbulent times by Arturas Kvederis, who now confidently hands over to Svitlana as he takes on the role as Regional Managing Director for Valtech’s European Delivery Centers:
“In my four years as the MD for Valtech Ukraine, me and my team navigated crisis upon crisis; from huge dynamics of growth, to COVID, to the start of the full scale war in Ukraine. But we always emerged stronger than before, together. When I look back, I remember emotions and I remember people who went on the amazing journey together with me, not least Svitlana. As colleagues and peers through the past seven years, she has shown a second-to-none understanding of our clients’ businesses, pains of what true transformation means for an enterprise business on one side, and on the other side, an amazing dedication to our people and joint successes. Her hard-working, can-do attitude is second to none, and I truly have no doubts she will be successful in her new role and grow our operations in Ukraine further.” Arturas Kvederis, Regional Managing Director, Valtech Delivery Centers.
In Arturas’s new role, he will be focusing on achieving new heights of growth and scale for both Valtech and its clients, building further unity and optimization across Valtech’s offices in Bulgaria, Portugal, Poland, Romania, North Macedonia and Ukraine.
Arturas and Svitlana have both stepped into their new roles and will continue to work closely together as Svitlana will report to Arturas as the Regional Managing Director.
