We are looking for Middle Full-Stack Engineer to join our global team of 6,000 professionals in more than 60 offices worldwide.
Valtech is a founding member of MACH Alliance, a group that educates enterprises on best-of-breed Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless (MACH) technology. Among the projects delivered are works for Levi's, BMW Online Store, Aerolíneas Argentinas.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience (3+ years) in Node.JS, Typescript, React, Next.JS
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Awareness of security topics related to frontend and backend development
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Awareness of handling/testing accessibility
- Experience with unit testing and frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Good communication, collaboration, and time management skills with a sense of accountability. Comfortable with both techies and non-techies
- Proven ability to work in Agile and Scrum methodologies within cross-functional teams
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Strong desire to learn more about business every day
Optional:
- Knowledge of commercetools or similar commerce platforms
- Knowledge of Contentful or similar CMS platforms
- Experience with any major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Interest or experience in adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Proficiency with state management libraries like Redux
The Role
As a Middle Full-Stack Engineer, you will:
- Develop new features and maintain enterprise-level Node.js and Next.js applications
- Fullstack development (backend heavy)
- Collaborate with the team on solution design, code reviews, and best practices
- Troubleshoot issues in existing systems to ensure scalability and reliability
- Stay updated on new Node.js, React/Next.js tools and techniques to keep improving
