The Role

The Head of Strategy will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution for the IMDA client group. This leader will be responsible for defining the group’s market position, uncovering growth opportunities in partnership with Client Partners owning Client relationships, and aligning efforts across accounts to maximize revenue, client satisfaction, and enable long-term partnerships.

About the IMDA Client Group
The Industrials, Manufacturing, Distribution & Agriculture (IMDA) client group is Valtech North America's largest vertical, managing over 100 clients and generating significant revenue. This group plays a critical role in enabling digital transformation, fostering innovation, and driving growth for some of the most iconic industrial brands.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership
    1. Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for the IMDA client group, aligned with Valtech's global goals, delivery competencies, and priorities.
    2. Identify industry trends, market opportunities, and emerging technologies to shape strategic roadmaps for clients.
    3. Act as a thought leader within the Industrials, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Agriculture sectors.
  2. Client Growth and Partnership Development
    1. Partner with Account Leads and Delivery Partners to identify growth and expansion opportunities within key accounts.
    2. Drive cross-selling efforts across Valtech’s service offerings, ensuring holistic value delivery.
    3. Cultivate executive-level relationships with key clients, becoming a trusted advisor for long-term partnerships.
  3. Revenue and Performance Optimization
    1. Collaborate with Client Leads to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the group.
    2. Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
    3. Support the development of high-value proposals and pitches.
  4. Innovation and Thought Leadership
    1. Spearhead innovation initiatives to position Valtech as a leader in the IMDA sectors.
    2. Represent Valtech at industry events, conferences, and forums, sharing expertise and showcasing successful case studies.
    3. Display leadership through LinkedIn and other social media with high –engagement in our vertical.
  5. Team Leadership and Collaboration
    1. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the client group.
    2. Mentor and develop Account Managers, Delivery Partners, and strategists to ensure top-tier performance and alignment with strategic goals.
    3. Work closely with regional leadership, marketing, and global strategy teams to support broader organizational objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a strategic leadership role, preferably within consulting, digital transformation, or relevant IMDA sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Industrials, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Agriculture markets, products, go to market strategies, including key trends and challenges.
  • Exceptional ability to think strategically, drive innovation, and connect insights to actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large portfolios of clients and achieving growth targets.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze data to drive decisions.
