We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fluent OMS - Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our vibrant and future-driven team at Valtech. The ideal candidate will be technically savvy, have a strong understanding of Order Management System and possess excellent problem-solving skills. The ability collaborate within cross-functional teams will also be invaluable in this role.
What you do
Core OMS Skills:
In-depth understanding of Fluent OMS architecture and components
Order lifecycle management: capture, validation, orchestration, and fulfillment
Experience with configuring and customizing workflows using Fluent Flow
Knowledge of Fluent Rules Engine for applying order routing, fulfillment logic, and business rules
Hands-on experience with pre-order, backorder, split order, and partial fulfillment scenarios
🔹 Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Java and Spring Boot for backend customizations
RESTful APIs – consuming and exposing Fluent OMS APIs
Integration experience with third-party systems like WMS, ERP, eCommerce, and Payment Gateways
Familiar with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ preferred)
Strong understanding of JSON and XML formats for data exchange
Experience in developing microservices to extend Fluent OMS functionality
🔹 Platform Integration:
Experience integrating Fluent OMS with platforms like:
Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Adobe Commerce / Shopify / HCL Commerce
SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce)
Warehouse systems (WMS)
Payment and Tax engines (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Avalara)
🔹 DevOps & Tools:
Familiar with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes basics
Monitoring and logging: Kibana, ELK stack, or similar
Working knowledge of AWS or Azure for cloud deployments
🔹 Functional Skills:
Strong domain understanding of eCommerce order management flows
Experience in B2B and B2C scenarios, including marketplace integration
Able to conduct gap analysis, define business requirements, and perform fit-gap assessments
Exposure to inventory management, sourcing logic, and fulfillment networks
🔹 Certifications (if applicable):
Fluent OMS Certified Developer (preferred)
