New Business Sales Director - NL

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven New Business Sales Director to lead our efforts in acquiring new clients in the Netherlands for our digital solutions and experiences.

This role requires a strong strategic mindset, exceptional sales acumen and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in a competitive environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and have a deep understanding of the latest consultative led transformational digital solutions.

We are particularly interested in growing revenue in the e-commerce. manufacturing and B2B sectors.

This is a hybrid role with the benefits of being able to work from home and from our new purpose built offices in Utrecht.

A day in the life of a New Business Sales Director

In this role, you will leverage your skills and experience to collaborate with our sales, client, and marketing teams in crafting and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at acquiring new business and enhancing our market presence for digital solutions across the Netherlands.

You will tap into your network to unlock new opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations. By understanding their unique needs and challenges, you will offer digital solutions that truly resonate.

Utilising the latest channels, data insights, and market analysis, you will generate leads and nurture your sales funnel effectively. Your expertise in the sales lifecycle will empower you to lead and manage complex negotiations, ensuring favorable outcomes for both our clients and the company.

Additionally, you will collaborate with our strategic technology partners—such as Commercetools, Sitecore, Adobe, Salesforce,, Contentful, Algolia, Akeneo, and Fluent—to showcase our capabilities and establish new connections within the NL digital landscape.

We would love if you have

  • An established career in new business development with your recent experience in a senior role focused on driving revenue for digital solutions in the Netherlands.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving new business growth with a digital agency or similar.
  • Experience of selling e-commerce solutions using Commercetools.
  • A passion and a strong understanding of the current digital landscape and potential offerings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
