A day in the life of a Solution Architect at Valtech
As a Solution Architect, you play an essential role in shaping and delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. You will primarily be responsible for designing scalable and secure architectures that meet both business and technical requirements. On a day-to-day basis, you will guide the development teams in implementing scalable and secure solutions while maintaining a close partnership with our clients.
In addition, you will:
- Engage with our clients' stakeholders from both IT and Business aligning our solutions to provide business value
- Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams in designing and integrating complex backend systems, including CMS and Commerce platforms, with diverse external systems and services
- Define high-level and detailed solution architectures, ensuring consistency with best practices in API design, microservices, headless solutions and security standards
- Conduct architecture reviews and guide technical decisions, ensuring the highest standards of system performance, security, and maintainability
- Oversee the architecture decision-making process and document decisions to align with project goals
You and the role
You are someone with at least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex technical solutions with strong technical background from Tech Lead/Development roles. You have experience handling extensive customer interaction, know how to communicate with clients, and how to identify additional ways your team can add value. You thrive in fast-paced, agile environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values innovation, creativity, and quality.
We would love if you have
- A strong background in web and backend development, including hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET or similar technologies
- In-depth knowledge of frontend frameworks, API design, maintenance, and security best pratices
- Experience leading development teams, with a proven ability to guide technical decisions and project delivery
- Familiarity with various architectural patterns, including microservices, and an understanding of modern e-commerce platforms
- Experience with Devops, deployment processes and security
- Fluency in English and Swedish, with excellent communication and presentation skills
