The Ideal Candidate

    • 3+ years practical experience in Java Automation
    • Web UI automation with Selenium WebDriver
    • Experience of using Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) collaboratively
    • API automation with RestAssured or similar tools
    • Experience in testing Microservices architecture
    • Performance testing with JMeter or similar tools
    • Mobile automation with Appium
    • Knowledge in SQL
    • Experience with Charles, Postman or similar tools
    • Confidence to question and challenge from a Testing perspective
    • The ability to quickly become a subject-matter expert
    • Knowledge of different testing techniques, test designs, and test strategies
    • Awareness of cross-platform complexities and their impact on quality
    • Experience working in an Agile team
    • Demonstrable initiative - you like to think outside of the box
    • Ability to be adaptable and learn quickly

The Role

A Senior Java Automation QA Engineer assumes a leadership role in maintaining software quality through advanced automation practices using Java. They design, develop, and maintain complex automated test scripts and frameworks, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues. Their expertise extends to troubleshooting intricate automation challenges and staying at the forefront of automation trends and best practices within the Java ecosystems.

As a Senior AQA Engineer with Java you’ll be expected to:

  • Work on custom projects for clients, sometimes very closely with their team
  • Design and write test automation scripts
  • Investigate problems in software as a result of testing
  • Work with QA analysts and software developers to find efficient automation solutions
  • Keep a healthy communication with your project manager and client
  • Take active part in all project stages – analysis, estimation, documentation, coding, bug fixing and support
  • Learn from your colleagues and teach them what you know

Our recruitment flow:

1) Screening - we are going to send you a short questionnaire with few questions before we will invite you to first meeting with HR.

2) HR Interview - up to 1 hour interview via Teams with Talent Acquisition Specialist.

3) Technical Interview - up to 1 hour technical discussion with our experts, meeting via Teams.

4)* Technical task that can take around 2 to 5 hours.

5) Final Interview - up to 1 hour soft-skill related meeting with Delivery Manager and People Partner.

6) Collecting references - we will ask you to provide some references you already got from previous projects or 2/3 e-mail addresses to people of your choice that will be able to respond to our short survey.
