We are looking for a .NET Engineer to join our global team of 6,000 professionals in more than 60 offices worldwide.
Valtech is a founding member of MACH Alliance, a group that educates enterprises on best-of-breed Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless (MACH) technology. Among the projects delivered are works for Levi's, BMW Online Store, Aerolíneas Argentinas.
What will you be doing?
You will play a key role in our growing Azure team. This team builds custom solutions that make use of the extensive Azure PaaS offering to accelerate development and solve complex problems for our clients. The .Net Engineer at Valtech is well-versed in the latest technical developments and utilizes his/her extensive software development experience to implement complex custom solutions together with a development team.
As part of a multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum team you will actively contribute to the technical road-map of the product. You are continuously looking for technical improvements and innovations that can be applied to improve the products we deliver.
Day by day you will work in close collaboration with consultants, developers, designers, testers and other experts to deliver high-quality software.
What do we expect from you?
- At least 3 years of experience as a .NET Engineer
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer in Azure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Solid knowledge of Azure PaaS (Web Apps)
- Experience with monitoring systems, such as Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace
- Experience with pipelining tools, such as Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
- General knowledge of networking, mainly in the context of Private EndPoints usage
- Experience with microservices-related technology: Docker, and Kubernetes.
- You have worked as an engineer in a DevOps context
- You have worked within the context of publicly accessible platforms
- Preferably you have worked with, highly available eCommerce and/or experience platforms
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Accountability, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Strong desire to learn more about business every day
Optional: - Experience with ARM templates
- Knowledge of Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, REDIS Cache
- Scripting knowledge with a preference for PowerShell
- Knowledge of Prometheus and/or Grafana
- Knowledge of Load Balancers and Azure Front Door
