The Role in a Nutshell

We are looking for a relationship-driven and sales focused Partner Development Manager to join our Google Cloud team and build our partnership with Google Cloud in a specific market. Reporting to the Google Cloud Director for Europe, you’ll be joining an arm of our sales team focused on driving growth through the partnership channel. You will operate in a fast-paced environment on a small, nimble team. You'll have an opportunity to make a big impact on Valtech and your career. In this role, you’ll support critical partnership management, drive forward new business relationships and support and manage sales pursuits.

What you can expect

  • Build, maintain, and navigate relationships with Valtech’s strategic partner, Google Cloud, as well as a small number of high priority ISVs in the Google Cloud ecosystem in DACH.
  • Work with Valtech internal teams to drive new sales opportunities through the partner channel. Where appropriate, directly lead the conversion of smaller opportunities with Google Cloud.
  • Create joint offerings and go-to-market motions, working with the broader Google Cloud team, Valtech’s Sales team and capability leaders.
  • Work with Valtech’s partner marketing team to execute our marketing plan, including, developing thought leadership, joint collateral, organising events.
  • Attend partner conferences and events to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Assist with overall partnership strategy.

The type of person we’d like to meet

  • 3+ years business-to-business channel and cloud technology experience preferred
  • Ability to exercise initiative to accomplish goals
  • Ability to work independently and make recommendations and decisions autonomously
  • Understanding of B2B marketing strategies and sales processes
  • May have previously worked with either marketing, line of business and/or technology teams in enterprise environments
  • Extroverted and empathetic
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments
