Capacity Analyst

At this time, we are looking for a Capacity Analyst to join our team, who will work closely with their assigned area and management team to ensure resources are aligned with project demands.

Mission of the Position

The Capacity Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning available resources with project demands. Always advising the management team from a staffing perspective, collaborating to have the talent optimally allocated based on their skills, career development, and expertise. Additionally, they are responsible for forecasting future demands, optimizing workloads, and fostering collaboration both inside and outside the service line, from a regional and global perspective

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing:

  • Partner with leadership of the appointed service line, sub-region, or area.
  • Collaborate with delivery leads, project managers, recruiting teams, and sales teams to staff projects with the appropriate experts from a skills and financial standpoi nt.
  • Forecast upcoming project demands to make strategic bench decisions and support leadership in decision-making.
  • Provide information to support business prioritizations between clients/accounts.
  • Orchestrate capacity management processes, including talent profile exchanges, interview setups, and availability validation.
  • Participate in staffing and team setups during the proposal phase of new projects.
  • Manage complex project staffing situations and ensure accurate allocation of available talent.
  • Attend and support key meetings related to staffing and operations processes.

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data, identify patterns, and advise senior leadership on risks within the service line or area of expertise.

Optimization:

  • Collaborate with service line/region leaders to optimize billability and utilization of experts.
  • Identify potential gaps (demand or bench) and proactively act with delivery leads.
  • Monitor and anticipate bench/staff availability.
  • Reduce and optimize subcontractor utilization, working closely with the Contractors Squad.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Act as the focal point for Talent Acquisition partners and take ownership of hiring openings (staff and subcontractors).
  • Challenge subcontracting hires and extensions.Advise leadership on when to move forward with hiring processes.

Academies:

  • Collaborate with HRBP and technical/delivery teams to follow up on training paths and ensure proper allocations after training programs.
  • Work with leadership teams to implement changes as needed.

Cross-Service Line Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the larger, super-regional team to support other service lines when necessary.
  • Participate in temporary project squads to add value to capacity management tasks and processes.

Communication Skills: Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
