Valtech and Best Western kickstart digital partnership with the launch of a new Scandinavian website.

We’ve partnered with BWH Hotels to relaunch its websites in Sweden, Denmark and Norway with a unique local feel, increased site speeds, and better UX.

BWH Hotels is a leading global hotel network comprising three chains and 18 brands. Headquartered in Arizona, the Group boasts 4500 hotels in almost 100 countries. On this project, Valtech worked with BWH Hotels Scandinavia – which has 160 hotels in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway – to relaunch the Group’s online presence. The result is a website that’s much faster, more user friendly, and better suited to the Scandinavian markets.

Three challenges, one neat solution

Our first challenge was to create a site that reflects Best Western Hotels & Resorts vibrant hotel portfolio and inspires a desire to travel. It was essential that the site felt modern to bring it in line with the sleek Scandinavian brand.

Part of creating an up-to-date, modern website also meant addressing slow page speeds and an unintuitive user interface. These were top considerations throughout the project.

The approach was to build a fresh website from scratch, which would give Best Western Scandinavia far greater options for customizing the content on its site.
