Back to the role:
What you will do:
- Implement high-quality web solutions based on a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, analysts, QA department, and solution architects to deliver solutions on time and within our client's budget.
- Work within a team, maintaining continuous communication with the client.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of APIs and services.
- Contribute to the evolution of our production methods and tools.
- Prepare for future projects and support new initiatives.
- Create elegant and efficient code, regardless of the application framework.
- Apply expertise to resolve backend issues.
What you should have
- Experience: 5 years in a similar Java position.
- Communication Skills: Strong, with proficiency in both oral and written French and English.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Soft Skills: Autonomous and proactive.
- Location: Must live in Montreal as client visits will be required.
- Developing microservices and CMS solutions.
- Writing code with unit tests.
- Mastery of GIT.
- Mastery of DevOps concepts.
- Proficiency in Contentful, Contentstack, and CommerceTools
- MACH experience (Microservice, API, Cloud-native, Headless).
- AWS experience.
- Python experience (Django).
- Infrastructure knowledge.
- Familiarity with VueJS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Knowledge of Java CMS (e.g., Magnolia, AEM).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (JIRA).
- Experience with various programming languages (Typescript/JavaScript).
