Survey: What will drive commercial excellence in 2030?

How will healthcare organizations redefine commercial excellence by 2030 to maximize value, optimize operations and meet the evolving needs of patients, providers and payers?

To answer this question, we’ve created our Commercial Excellence in 2030 Survey, a unique framework designed not only to gather insights but also to spark reflection and growth for participants.

This isn’t just a survey. It’s a tool for self-discovery, a guide for team alignment and a roadmap for organizational transformation.

Our approach to navigating change

We are using our SEE-BE-MAKE framework to define the scope of this research:

SEE change

We cannot change if we do not see the need for it. Inspiration and reorientation are crucial at the start of any change process. This relies entirely on a fresh perspective, so we must actively expose our systemic mindset to diverse thoughts.

The first part of our survey will ask respondents to rate the 2030 impact on 25 external forces that all hold the potential to reshape the marketplace.

BE change

Who we are determines what we do. In leadership, change matters because it shapes our worldview. To initiate change, we must first understand ourselves and what drives us. We need the courage to explore and answer the most profound questions.

The second part of our survey will ask respondents to rate the 2030 importance of 17 clusters of strategic questions that all hold the potential to reshape the go-to-market approach.

MAKE change

Societies and marketplaces can only be renewed if someone cares and acts. This involves breaking through the status quo’s rigidity and complacency. We must become curious and courageous pioneers seeking to establish the next practices. We can truly differentiate by letting our actions speak louder than our words.

The third part of our survey will ask respondents to rate the 2030 importance of 25 commercial excellence disciplines across all relevant business functions. For each discipline, the respondent can further elaborate on the relevance of 10 future directions.
