The Role:

As a Senior Project Manager at Valtech you will balance strategic planning, delivery management and hands-on problem-solving on a daily basis. You will understand the business of the client and design and execute a strategy focused on achieving their goals. In this role, you will be part of a team of diverse digital natives working collaboratively to deliver customer centric digital transformation solutions.

This role is based in our brand-new, award-winning, eco-friendly office in Utrecht with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. Valtech is a client-centric business and there will be plenty of opportunity to meet with customers at their Netherlands-based offices.

What you will be doing:

  • You will be responsible for defining the project scope, objectives and managing the delivery of complex digital design and build projects for a diverse range of customers.
  • You will guide our clients through their digital transformation journey by developing detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and aligning their strategies to their business goals.
  • You will proactively manage risks, identify blockers in delivery and take actions to resolve and escalate issues that may occur.
  • You will ensure the governance for the project is in place and monitor and report on delivery burndown and financial spend.
  • You will lead the project and will be the glue for our internal development teams and our customer stakeholders.
    Essential Experience:
    • You are someone with extensive (at least 5-7 years) of experience in the field of agile project management and the delivery of digital solutions.
    • You have experience in client facing project manager roles and the ability to work with C-level stakeholders on complex multi layered projects.
    • You are someone who always sees the bigger picture and can talk strategy, branding, design and development.
    • You can proven experience in leading, coaching, and inspiring multidisciplinary teams including developers, business analysts, QA and creatives.
    • You think from the end user perspective and have experience running B2C and B2B customer first solutions.
    • You bring fluency in English and ideally have proficiency in Dutch.
    • You have experience in Scrum and Agile processes and knowledge of other methodologies like Scaled Agile, Kanban and Lean methodologies.
    • A flexible mindset and a hands-on mentality with the ability to switch between strategic topics and operational interventions.
    • Ideally experience with e-commerce solutions and DXP platforms such as Adobe, Sitecore or Optimizely.

Meet the team:

In this role you will be working with a cross functional nearshore and local development team. Internally this will be made up of everyone needed to deliver a complex digital solution. Critically to this role you will be working closely with our customers' stakeholders at every stage of the delivery.
