A day in the life of a Lead Flutter Developer
As a Lead Flutter Developer at Valtech you will be leading a multi-disciplined agile team to build and deliver best in class mobile applications for leading global brands that are used by millions of people daily.
You will be a critical part of the customer delivery and will have a clear voice as part of the delivery team. We are looking for someone to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and who is able to lead the design, development and implementation of applications that delivery high-quality, scalable and user centric solutions.
You and the role
You will be leading a cross functional and self-organising team, working directly with our clients to understand their requirements and turn these into world class mobile applications.
Essential Expertise:
- You will be an expert in Flutter and Dart development with experience of software design patterns
- You will have significant experience in cross-platform development for both Android and iOS
- You will have a good understanding of backend integration such as RESTful APIs and GraphQL and how they’re integrated into Flutter applications
- You will have a good understanding of the different forms of testing a mobile application, such as unit, widget and integration testing
- You can demonstrate experience in leading teams, with strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- You will have strong experience with Agile methodologies
We would love if you have
- Experience of coaching and mentoring of other developers
- System architecture knowledge
- DevOps and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and/or GCP) familiarity
- Experience in using tools such as Firebase and GitHub Workflow and Action
- A deep understanding of mobile development best practices
- Additional skillsets such as .Net, NodeJS, NextJS, React, Terraform and Typescript
