A worldwide shut down like the one we’ve seen around the COVID-19 outbreak is something that’s almost unprecedented within the working world.
So many companies are sending employees to work from home, or simply sending employees home without any work at all.
While everyone is taking the needed steps to mitigate the outbreak and keep their clients and employees safe, we wanted to take the time to assure you that Valtech is doing the same, and while we are protecting ourselves and our clients, we’re also remaining open for business.
A History of Remote Collaboration
Valtech is a global company. With 3000 people in 45 offices, 16 countries and 5 continents, we understand how difficult it can be to navigate times of major change and upheaval. However, those numbers alone don't make us special. What is unique is the way that all our employees work together to create solutions for both local and global clients, and they do so often in global teams consisting of members from various countries.
Collaboration with teammates around the world is the order of everyday for Valtech employees. For example, when a global medical reference site needed a massive CMS migration and general update of their largest website, they came to Valtech for help. The team that delivered the spectacular results featured employees from Valtech offices in Switzerland, Ukraine, Denmark, France and the Netherlands.
This team collaborated daily from their respective locations to complete the project. And they did such a good job that they’ve been kept together to work on future projects as well. This kind of far-reaching collaboration is baked into Valtech’s DNA.
Valtech is Here for You
As the entire world changes and prepares to navigate these very difficult times, it’s important that you know Valtech is preparing too. Our employees have shifted out of the office and are working from home. We’ve put out guidelines for the best practices when working remotely to make sure the vision of our entire company is aligned. We’re doing everything in our power to protect our employees and our clients.
However, equally important is the fact that working in these conditions isn’t so different from the way we always work. Our teams are spread out and socially distancing as they should, but we’re still all working together in the virtual space in the same manner that we always have to bring you the same top-quality results you’re used to.
