As technology advances in the connected space, there is an ever-increasing range of things that a connected car ‘could’ do. The more important question is what the car ‘should’ do. What functions and services will fulfil a genuine human need and create a new ownership experience that enables you to leapfrog the competition.
Reimagine will design new benchmarks in quality and efficiency for the luxury sector.
- JLR Reimagine Strategy
Through Valtech Mobility we have been working with both Audi and Volkswagen to develop the interface and software that sits at the heart of their connected car service, and more importantly, help identify where that technology should go next.
Our mobility experience doesn’t stop at automotive. We work with airlines, airports, train operators and hotels all over the world and have dedicated verticals in automotive and travel. In the UK alone we work with clients such as easyJet, London North Eastern Railway (LNER), National Rail and the Department for Transport. We have a full understanding of modern mobility and have an incredibly deep understanding of consumer needs.
For the Department for Transport (DfT), we conducted in-depth customer research to help digitise the Blue Badge application process and turn it from the most complained about digital service operated by the DfT into one of the most efficient and well regarded. We are now working with DfT to understand how technology can enable smart parking for disabled customers and a government e-scooter service in city centres.
This rounded knowledge of the modern mobility consumer would bring interesting perspectives to the JLR mobility future.
