Technical Principal, Adobe Technologies
What we are looking for:
Valtech is looking for a Technical Principal for our growing Adobe practice. This role will be a trusted leader who gains cross-functional support for objectives and priorities by translating business strategy into actionable business requirements first by obtaining and distributing resources then by setting standards and measuring progress and removing obstacles that impact performance.
Our Technical Principals build collaborative, cross-functional relationships; partnering with our clients, offering strategic solutions then communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward as well as adapting to competing demands and new responsibilities. fostering open dialogue amongst team members; evaluating and responding to the strengths and weaknesses of self and unit members; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
This role focuses on our Adobe practice. Responsibilities will include, developing and implementation of AEM-based solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability and collaborating to integrate AEM components seamlessly. Builds AEM solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and our client's IT standards.

What you will do:
- Define the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components.
- Provides thought leadership to executive management and business leaders on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes.
- Reviews, evaluates, and prioritizes value gaps and opportunities
- Leads solution design by translating requirements into workable business solutions and leading in design sessions with technical teams, can easily present and translate to stakeholders
- Recommends and advocates for additional data and/or services needed to address key business issues related to process or solutions design.
- Leads the evaluation of third-party vendors as directed.
- Drives continuous process improvement by leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise.
- Recommends and advocates for regional and national process improvements which align with sustainable best practices, and the strategic and tactical goals of the business.
What you should have:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field- Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- 15 + years’ experience in management consulting, business analysis, or a related field with min of 5 years managing large client facing teams
- Solid and deep knowledge of Adobe, AEM and/or other CMS systems
- A proven track record of solving high complex issues
