We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in React and Next.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building Next.js applications hosted on platforms like Vercel or Netlify or AWS. You should be proficient in JavaScript frameworks, TypeScript, and have a proven track record of analysing and optimizing application performance. Knowledge of MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) and composable principles, as well as JAM Stack architecture, is essential. Additionally, you will drive CI/CD for frontend applications and can build high-quality mobile apps or PWAs.
What You Do
As a seasoned frontend developer with at least 8-10 years of industry experience, At least 8+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years focused on React and Next.js. Proven experience in building and deploying applications on Vercel or Netlify. Strong background in JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript. Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools, including Google Lighthouse. Experience with SEO and web accessibility standards.

Application Development:
Lead the development of scalable and high-performance applications using React and Next.js.
Architect, build, and deploy Next.js applications on Vercel or Netlify.
Ensure applications adhere to best practices in performance, security, and accessibility.
Translate UI/UX design wireframes into code in collaboration with the design team.
Have microservices - DynamoDB, Lambdas, AWS, TypeScript, APIs skills and collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side logic.
Leverage AWS services to enhance application scalability, reliability, and security.

Implement strategies to enhance application speed, responsiveness, and user experience.

Ensure all applications are built with strong SEO principles to enhance visibility and search rankings.
Implement best practices for web accessibility (WCAG) to ensure applications are usable by all users, including those with disabilities.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the frontend development team.
Promote best practices in coding standards, design patterns, and testing.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality.
MACH and JAMStack Principles:
Implement MACH architecture principles and composable design in frontend applications.
Leverage JAMStack architecture to build modern, scalable web applications.
Integrate with headless CMS, APIs, and other backend services.
CI/CD and DevOps:
Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for frontend applications.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar.
Ensure automated testing and deployment processes are robust and efficient.
Progressive Web Apps (PWAs):
Design and develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) that provide a native app-like experience.
Implement offline capabilities, push notifications, and other PWA features.
Ensure PWAs are optimized for various devices and platforms.
