As an AS400 Developer / Admin at our company, you will play a pivotal role in developing, and administrating to enhance customer engagement and experience. You will collaborate in an international environment, working closely with other experts to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
What you do
A seasoned AS400 Developer / Admin with an industry experience of minimum 7+ years to work on projects of enterprise grade. The ideal candidate will possess expertise as admin / developer lead roles with a focus on AS400 Application.
Experience with process improvement and automation techniques for application support.
Expertise in RPGILE,CLLE and DB2 , Admin related tasks.
Familiarity with AS400 management and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, ServiceNow
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
What we ask for
Handling the AS400 Application support activities
Lead and coordinate the project development activities across the teams .
Configure and manage the As400 system activities such as scheduling , batch jobs , system performances
Drive the Documentation process for Major Modules.
lead and drive the automation process in the application
Managing the Backup and recovery strategies, including full system backups, disaster recovery, and restoration.
Managing the user profiles, authorities, and roles within the IBM i system.
Handling the Program Temporary Fixes (PTFs) and keeping the system up-to-date
Ability to write and optimize SQL queries embedded within RPG programs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the Application suite, ensuring minimal downtime.
Drive process improvements and implement infrastructure optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
