“Bulgaria is a growing tech hub in Eastern Europe with a strong reputation for its skilled IT professionals and software developers, enriched with a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital space,” said Jakob Vasehus, Global Chief Delivery Officer. “As we’re a people-focused business who’s success is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, the culture of Bulgaria is a perfect fit. We’re excited to begin recruiting from the country's impressive pool of talent.”

The opportunity for local talent

The opening of Valtech Bulgaria presents an opportunity for local talent to reap the rewards of working in multi-disciplinary teams and at a company that has strong technology specialism and partner relationships. Rade Georgiev, Managing Director of Bulgaria and North Macedonia, Valtech, added: “Valtech specializes in digital transformation. We live and breathe our motto ‘Transform by Doing.’ In Bulgaria, we’ve already begun working on interesting projects for big, international clients with an international team. Using different platforms like Sitecore, Adobe XM, and Salesforce enables huge projects to be implemented by relatively small teams, which in turn provides developers with the opportunity to work on a broad variety of tasks in different technical areas, not only pure coding.”
