The Role:

As a Program Manager at Valtech you are critical to the success of our collaboration with our clients. You will be involved at every stage of the project, from kick-off, through delivery and implementation. Working closely with our clients, you’ll be responsible for turning the project vision and user experience into deliverables the team can work with, whilst always maintaining a focus on the ‘why’ for your project. You will also take an active role in supporting and developing our people in their own journey of growth.

In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

Program Orchestration and Leadership:

· Prioritize and align Program activities with the clients strategic value agenda to drive long-term growth.

· Facilitate collaboration between (internal) teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of program initiatives.

· Enable cross-functional engagement to support our client’s global strategy, focusing on breaking down silos and ensuring an end-to-end transformation mindset.

· Ensure transparency and manage expectations by fostering a performance culture that supports a client growth journey.

Governance and Process Management:

· Establish and maintain a governance structure to support efficient decision-making, risk management, and effective communication.

· Define clear roles and responsibilities and ensure accountability within the team.

· Address (internal) blockers, including process inefficiencies and capacity management, to ensure the team's focus remains on customer value.

Program Planning and Execution:

· Lead the development of detailed action plans for each initiative in the 3-month resolution plan.

· Monitor progress, ensure timely completion of activities, and provide support as needed to meet Program deadlines.

Knowledge Sharing and Team Empowerment:

· Oversee the implementation of a knowledge-sharing platform to centralize Program-related information and ensure transparency.

· Encourage efficient knowledge transfer by supporting a mentorship Program and facilitating shadowing opportunities for team members to learn from experienced colleagues.

· Ensure continuous upskilling of team members, particularly in composable practices and transformation, to bridge any knowledge gaps.

Essential Expertise:

  • You are someone with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in program management, ideally with transformation or digital programs within a consultancy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, with the ability to clearly convey Program objectives and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in leading large cross-functional teams and implementing governance structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics
  • Ability to understand the broader transformation goals and ensure alignment of all program activities to these objectives

· Domain experience in one or more of the following:

  • Ecommerce
  • Manufacturing
  • Experience with documented delivery methods/techniques and opinions on their suitability/merits: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, DAD.
